Ladysharks-
EBBCLA will again provide a Lady Sharks Introduction to Lacrosse for Kindergarten Girls program on Sunday afternoons.
Teams meet once per week in either Barrington or Bristol. Players need a stick and mouth guard only. Team t-shirts are provided at the start of the season.
Gear required - Stick & mouthguard only.
Cost $70.00 plus field use fee/ After January 31st $100.00
RIYLL Recreational Program- Grades 1 through 8
EBBCLA will offer teams to play in the RIYLL schedule in all grade brackets. Practices will be held 1 or 2 times per week with games on Saturday mornings. Grade 1/2 teams will alternate weekly playing both in-house (no travel) Saturday games on local fields and games in the RIYLL schedule. This will rotate weekly - 1 week out, 1 week home for example. (Same 1/2 program as last year.)
RIYLL Games will be played on local fields as well as fields through the state against other RIYLL programs. Grade brackets are: 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8
COST: $120.00 After January 31st, $170.00
All equipment and protective gear is the responsibility of the participant. Girls Grade 1-8: Stick, mouth guard, cleats and lacrosse eye protection. Many girls also wear gloves. Price includes town mandated field use fees.
NEW!!! Girl's Competitive Program:
Two Grade Brackets: 5/6 & 7/8
New for 2010! RIYLL is providing a competitive level program for girls in grades 5 through 8. East Bay will provide one team for each grade bracket . Teams will be selected through tryouts held indoors in January & February with rosters announced in February.
Games will be played Saturday mornings and practices 2 days a week through the spring. There is the potential for 1 or 2 "out of league" games to be arranged during the season.
COST: $195.00 ($120.00 paid at time of registration. Additional $75.00 paid when selected ofr RIYLL Competitive Team). After January 31st, $245.00.

NEW!!! Post Season Tournament Play-
Upon conclusion of the RIYLL season the East Bay Girl's competitive teams will be entered to play in the Tournament circuit From Mid June to early July. Spring into Summer, Camel Jam, NESLL at Bryant, ( other possible Groton Tournament July 4th weekend & Umass Tournament in late July). Players who participate in this program will pay additional Team fee plus individual tournament fees. A tryout will be held to fill in the roster if needed.
Coaching Support -
Meg Miller will return as Girl's Coaching Director to provide coaches support again at practices . Meg will again provide Pre-Season coaching clinics, skill and positional clinics throughout the season.
A two-time All-South Region selection, Miller was also a two-time Second Team All-American while with the Duke University Blue Devils. Miller earned All-ACC honors as a senior, and was named to the All-ACC Tournament Team in 2003 and 2004. She helped to lead the Blue Devils to the NCAA Tournament for four straight years. A nominee for the women's lacrosse Tewaarton Trophy in 2003 and 2004, Miller was a Preseason All-American in both 2003 and 2004 and the ACC co-Rookie of the Year in 2001. Welcome back Meg!
